Porsche's History

  • Porsche is a German Company with its correct pronunciation being "Porsch-a".
  • Porsche's origins of the company date to the 1930s when Czech-German automotive engineer Ferdinand Porsche with Adolf Rosenberger and Anton Piech had founded the company.
  • The first model of cars were the 356 built in small sawmill in Gmünd, Austria.
  • The prototype was shown to German auto dealers and when pre-orders reached a certain point the production with aluminium body was started by Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH, founded by Ferry and Louise.
